Everything you need to know about Calometric.

How much does Calometric cost?
One-time purchase. No subscriptions, no recurring fees, no in-app purchases. Pay once and it's yours forever.
How many ways can I log a meal?
Five. Snap a photo, scan a barcode, speak it, search the 177-food USDA database, or point your camera at a nutrition label. Use whichever fits the moment -- and everything is fully editable before you save.
Does it sync across my devices?
Yes. Calometric uses iCloud (CloudKit) to sync between your iPhone and Apple Watch automatically. Just sign into iCloud. No separate account needed.
How does barcode scanning work?
Point your camera at any packaged food. Calometric looks up the nutrition instantly from Open Food Facts, a community-maintained catalog of millions of products. Only the barcode number and your device language are sent -- never your photos or identity -- and missing products can be added locally, even offline.
How does voice logging work?
Tell Siri what you ate -- "I had a chicken salad and a coffee." On-device AI estimates the calories and macros and adds the entry to your diary. No typing required.
What can the Apple Watch app do?
Everything you need on your wrist: check your calorie ring, browse macros, quick-add calories, and review today's entries. It's a full companion app, not a stripped-down version -- with three watch-face complication styles.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Export your full meal history to CSV anytime from the app -- your data is yours to keep.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Photo recognition, voice logging, food search, and label scanning all run on-device with no internet. Only barcode lookups reach the network, and even those recover gracefully when you're offline.
Does it work with Apple Health?
Yes. Calometric reads and writes nutritional data to HealthKit, so your nutrition stays unified with workouts, sleep, and everything else in Apple Health.
Is my data really private?
Your meals, photos, and history never leave your device except through your own private iCloud. No accounts, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, no ad tracking -- the App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected." The only outbound request is a barcode lookup to Open Food Facts, which sends just the barcode number. Read the full privacy policy.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com within 14 days of purchase.
What iOS version do I need?
iOS 26 or later for iPhone, and watchOS 26 or later for Apple Watch. AI portion estimation needs an iPhone 15 Pro or newer with Apple Intelligence; every other feature works on any supported iPhone.
